Each creation begins with silk that has been carefully hand-dyed, then stretched across a frame to await its transformation. Delicate outlines are traced onto the fabric, guiding the hand-painted designs that bring each piece to life. No two lengths of silk are ever the same - every brushstroke ensures a one-of-a-kind work of art.
To preserve the vibrancy, the silk is steam-set for two to three hours, locking in the colors. It then rests for two days, allowing the pigments to cure naturally. Afterward, the fabric is rinsed, pressed, and prepared for its final metamorphosis - cut and hand-crafted into a tunic. The result is a garment that carries not only beauty, but the story of patience, artistry, and individuality woven into every fiber.

As a young girl, I watched my mother guide silk beneath her sewing machine, transforming the fabric into elegance. In the 1980s, I began making my own clothes from remnants and fabric scraps, piecing together outfits simply because I wanted to wear something no one else had.
Long before “individual style” became a phrase, I understood the pleasure of it.
Life led me to a sensible career in the recruitment industry, but creativity waited patiently. In 2001, I left Sheffield, England for the Caribbean. Surrounded by turquoise seas and tropical light, I rediscovered the joy of creation.
